Therapy can help you with:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Anger

  • OCD

  • Addiction

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) will help you understand the relationship between your thought’s feelings and behaviours by building awareness of yourself alongside the concept of; if you understand your problem you can manage it. CBT helps you identify situations in your life that trigger unwanted thoughts and feelings which allows you to start the process of feeling better.

Goldmind therapy room

55 Clydesdale St

Hamilton ML3 0DD

CBT is:

  • Time efficient which means that you will not be in therapy for months or years.

  • Both therapist and client work collaboratively together.

  • Continually assessed to ensure therapy is working.

  • Flexible so sessions can be adjusted to suite your needs.

  • Goal focused.

  • Giving you simple tools and resources to manage future mental health challenges you may face after therapy is finished.

There are many ways to work therapeutically with your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. At Goldmind we use an integrative approach which means we also use techniques from other types of therapies that may help you.  For example, Person Centred, NLP, ACT therapy and Solution Focused, if appropriate. Within therapy we will explore whatever challenge you are facing in life which is causing you to feel the way you do. We will first build your awareness of why and how you feel the way you do. The next step is learning how you can manage your thoughts and feelings by exploring different solutions. By learning new tools you will be able to live a more fulfilled and happy life which moves you towards what you value and goals you may have.
